{"id":694,"date":"2012-02-05T19:33:00","date_gmt":"2012-02-05T17:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dh5ym.hopto.org\/wiki\/?p=694"},"modified":"2013-02-08T19:01:59","modified_gmt":"2013-02-08T19:01:59","slug":"drm-tx-with-hiqsdr-frontend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh5ym.hopto.org\/wiki\/?p=694","title":{"rendered":"DRM TX with HiQSDR frontend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday i used my HiQSDR frontend for transmitting a shortwave radio signal in digital DRM standard.<br \/>\nI had to use the FPGA firmware version 1.2 which contains enhanced filters that allow modulation of signals with a bandwidth of up to 22kHz in IQ mode (+-11kHz around the tuning frequency).<br \/>\nStefan, DL2STG, did a great job creating support for the HiQSDR within the Gnuradio project. After noticing a IQ swap the 64QAM DRM signal was decodable.
